Every Christmas I dress the children in their Christmas best and march us all down to Sears for our family portrait. This picture is one of the few pictures we have of me. I am always behind the camera so it’s very rare that we have pictures of me. It’s also in my plans that the picture of me will have me looking my best. It’s a win-win situation.
I try to get our photos taken early (as in the end of October or the beginning of November). Well, this year, we’re way, way behind. We had or photos done yesterday. The session went very well. Our family portrait turned out okay with almost all the kids smiling. Then we had the children take a photo together without the parents. Pumpkin didn’t want to take the picture, but the photographer had a trick up her sleeve: a chair. What munchkin can resist a kid size chair. The only problem was that she refused to be in any other pose. Oh, well. The photos turned out really well and they looked beautiful and handsome. If I can figure out how to download the pictures from their site, I will post them.
After our session, we went to take a picture with Santa. Honey and Pumpkin did not like it at all. Pumpkin screamed and threw a fit while Honey stood there with a fake smile plastered on her face.
All in all a good photo taking day.
