This is my Honey:

See that sweet face?  Well, hidden under that hair are her devilish horns.  This child can cause mischief.  Tonight was no exception–as we like to say, "She needs to retract those horns."  After doing the millionth thing to aggravate her baby sister, Honey was sent to bed without a bedtime story.  This is the biggest punishment ever in this little 3 year old’s life.  After finally brushing her teeth through the tears and arguing with me on whether I did get to 3 before she stopped, I put her to bed.  I spent some time talking to her to calm her down and then we prayed together.  During this time I discovered that maybe she just needs me.

Let me explain.  She’s the third kid, the second daughter.  Her brother is special needs so he always gets plenty of attention.  Her sister is the first to do ballet, Little Flowers, and other activities.  The baby gets attention from me for being the baby.  This poor kid needs some attention.  So, I spent the time talking to her, hugging her and just basically loving her.

In the future, I will have to remember to give her what she needs:  Me.
