On Fridays, my Catholic homeschool group gets together for some planned and unplanned activities. This Advent and Christmas season we did some of the activities from Elizabeth’s Tomie de Paola unit study.
This last Friday, we had our Epiphany party and used Alice’s Epiphany tea idea to have a a modified version of our own. So, we had tea, sugar cubes, and milk. It was fun and I think the children got something out of it. I also read these beautiful letters written by Alice’s 12 year old daughter. Thank you, Alice for the great idea.
We made the 3 boxes as Alice suggested and we plan on continuing to put things in there. I’m not sure where I’m going with these things, but maybe by the time Advent rolls around again, we will have some great gifts for Jesus.
