Ben’s Great-Uncle Richard is a priest who officiated at our wedding and baptized all four of our children. He had a mild case of skin cancer on his hand a couple of years ago and had surgery to remove those lesions. Well, the cancer is back and it’s come back in the form of tumors on his hand. The doctors are planning on amputating his hand.
I’m asking for your prayers for this dear man. He is in his 80s. He will most likely be moved in the archdiocese’s nursing home in Boston. I don’t know the date of his surgery yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s soon.
My sister is going in for hernia surgery this Thursday, the 19th. Please pray for an uncomplicated procedure. It’s outpatient and isn’t supposed to be complicated, but it is surgery.
I thank you for your prayers.
