Small-success

1.  Getting up every morning, taking a shower and tackling the day.  This is good because my inclination is to hide in bed all day.  I'm fighting that desire every single day.  I don't want to do anything so instead I've been working hard to clean, de-clutter, and do the every day things necessary to run the house.

2.  Read aloud to children during lunch.

3.  I haven't cried today.

You are doing great. God is with you as you get out of bed and carry on with the day. That’s what He has called mothers to do …no matter the trials He sends us, He is always close to us. It’s okay to cry too…

    Love your small successes!
I think I need to focus a bit more on the right rather than the wrong around here! Thanks for the inspiration.

It does get easier in time, Sweetie. Meanwhile, I’m with Emily. It IS okay to cry.
    And to be angry.
    And to ask why?
    And to TRUST.
That’s the hard part, but you can do it. Love you, dear.

    KC,
I am sorry for the loss of Mark. I do not know what it is like to lose a child. I do not know your pain and sorrow. The closest thing that I can do is imagine if I had lost my two boys. I do not know what I can do to make it better except to pray for you every night with my boys. They pray for you, your health, and a new baby. The oldest one still asks about Mark and where he went, but he says, it is okay. Mark is with God. I hope you know that I am here for you and hope that you will find solace.
