  •     Thank a vet for their sacrifice. 

  • These are parking spots that are close to the exchange and commissary.  They’re for family members of service members killed in action.  I’m sure they’d trade this and just about anything to have their loved one of with them.  Please on this Memorial Day, pray for them.

  • My friend had been waiting for the return of her son, Pat, from Iraq.  Well, I’ve received word that he’s finally home!  Please rejoice with us. Thank you, God, for bringing Pat safely home to his loved ones.  I know his Mama is very relieved to hold him in her arms.

  • Ben was given Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) today for his work at his current job.  He says it’s just one of those things you get each time you change jobs, but the way his boss described it, Ben did one heck of a job.  Congratulations, Major!   • Suzanne at Blessed Among Men has a picture on her blog that brings tears to my eyes.  It’s heartbreaking.  Grab a tissue before you click.  Then pray for this young man.

  • Military wives (yes, there are military husbands, but I don’t know many and they’re usually both in the military) usually complain that things break down the minute the husbands are in the field, TDY (temporary duty which is equivalent to a business trip) or deployed.  I guess since I take care of all that anyway…
