Texas–I’m Ashamed to Know Ya

Well, it seems my beloved state is doing that makes me heartsick.  The governor is mandating that beginning September 2008, all 11 and 12 year olds entering the 6th grade will be required to receive the HPV vaccine.  Parents can opt them out, but this is ridiculous.

    I was so heartborken about this too! It bugs me that the commercials advertising for “Tell someone” about this disease gloss over the fact that it is sexually transmitted. How are they going to explain that one to these elementary school girls? Ugh!
