A little bit ago, I was thrilled to notice that I was on the list of one of my favorite bloggers.  Then I just noticed I’m no longer on that blogroll of her favorites.  What is it about me that I crave such approval.  It devastated me!!  I shouldn’t be because it’s not end all to my life, but all I could think was, did I say something she didn’t like?  How did I offend her that she took my blog off her list?

In thinking these thoughts, I realize that I don’t need to seek approval from anyone else.  I just need to do what God wants.  It’s difficult for me to get past this, but it’s a great learning experience for me.  I feel like such an adolescent high schooler, but there it is.  I think it’s God’s way of keeping me humble.  Humility is one of the most difficult things for me.

When you think of it, please say a quick prayer for me to see the way.  Oftentimes lately, I’m feeling adrift.  Thank you.

Humility is something everyone needs to work on, I will pray for you, if you’ll pray for me too!

This has happened to me before. I just figured that the person had new favorite blogs.

I totally understand! I have found though, that often a blogger has various reasons for changing a blogroll – like they are only including a certain kind and others are just on their bloglines subscription, or they put up their “daily” haunts and others are visited less often, but still visited, etc. I try (and fail, lol) to think it is something NOT related to me, but just about them and their needs. 🙂

See, this is why I removed my blogroll entirely. I just couldn’t keep up with it and was afraid I would offend some dear sweet someone like you by accidentally not including them.
Funny how we get so wrapped up in this virtual world of ours.
Try not to let it bother you, KC. Whoever deleted you probably did it purely by accident. I mess up my code all the time.

I’ll bet it was a mistake and not left off on purpose!
One of my best friends in the world never had me on my blogroll! LOL! I knew it was a mistake, and I finally mentioned it to her. We shared a laugh over it!
No one would leave you out on purpose, KC! You ride high on everyone’s list of favorites!
