I’m still like a babe in the woods when it comes to Catholicism. I didn’t say a rosary until I was in my 30s. I’m learning a lot about the beauty of the church. Another thing is learning so much about the wonderful lives of the saints. One particular saint is a favorite among my friends IRL and in cyberspace. I’ve prayed many novenas to her for a particular intention. Almost everyone who has prayed to St. Therese has received a rose almost immediately. I never did. I prayed and prayed this novena for a long time. At church last month, I received a little rose sticker to promote life. It took me about a day or two before it dawned on me that I had received my rose. But, what I had been asking for did not come. It seems that God has been wanting to teach me about patience and perserverence. Today, I finally received the answer I had been waiting for.
We will have a new little one at the beginning of November. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy.
