If you are tempted to turn the KitchenAid mixer up to the highest speed, don't do it.  Especially if you have sisters with long hair.  Said sister might be tempted to look into the bowl to see how it looks at that fast rate and her hair might get caught causing her hair to be yanked out in big clumps.

Then Mom might yell at everyone because she's feeling extremely guilty for getting caught up in her phone conversation while the mixer was doing its job.  No matter how many times she apologizes or cries, there's no taking back those angry/scared words.

Ask us how we know.

Please pray for us.  Sister is recovering but she has a really big bald spot on top of her head.  She's worried about how it will look at ballet.  Also, please pray for me.  I really need it.  As my category states, I really DO love my children.

Oh my, K.C.! Poor dear! Poor mom! Thank you for this (unfortunate for her) reminder especially with holiday baking shifting into high gear soon. Don’t beat yourself up too much! They know you love them!

Oh KC — I never would have in a million years thought of that happening. 😦
Hugs for you guys — that had to be so hard.

Exactly. That could have happened to ANY of us, dear KC. What’s done is done and your little girl’s hair will grow back. Could you do it up in a bun for ballet?
As far as those angry/scared words are concerned, a repentant momma’s love goes a LONG way. A brand new Beanie Baby might help, also. 🙂

Oh no, that must be so hard. What if you gave her a side part and combed the hair on the sides over her bald spot? You could still get it into a ballet bun without the spot showing for her performance. I know how much she is looking forward to it, so I’ll pray for a positive attitude and solution for you guys.

Oh no! How awful for everyone! Perhaps a good hair stylist could help you find a solution.

Sounds like a rough day. I’ve so been there. It’s so easy to get caught up in the moment and fly off the handle. We’ve all done it.
Though I don’t know you personally, I can easily tell how much you love your children. I’ll keep you and Sister in my prayers. Tomorrow’s a new day.

The way you fixed her hair yesterday was very nice and you couldn’t tell at all.
I can’t agree more with Emily. You are a fantastic mom!
