The next chapter in our Army saga begins this October.  Ben will be PCSing (Permanent Change of Station) into a new job and this new job deploys him to either Iraq, Kuwait or Afghanistan or all three.  His job description is classified as is his locations.  I won't get into how we ended up at this point as it was not pleasant and I don't want to get upset all over again (I mean, really, they asked for him by name here locally!)  He will be gone for a year. 

The time between now and then will be full.  I'll be getting prepared for his departure mentally as well as getting the house more in order.  It had been part of my Lenten plans, but now it's really crucial.  I am blessed with a great support system of friends and family nearby. 

We will be taking advantage of Disney World's special Armed Forces discount (free 5 day pass for active duty soldiers and 5 $99 five day companion passes) to visit that fun place for the first time.  Unfortunately, our visit will be in a hot summer month, but it'll still be fun.
