It's all my fault. Blame it on me. I knew it would happen, but I did it anyway. I planned a road trip for our family and now the gas prices have started to rise.
On Thursday, it was $1.79 per gallon. Then on Saturday, it rose to $1.86. Last night, I saw that it was at $1.95. Today, Ben called on his way into work to let me know that it's at $2.05. That's a 26 cent rise in 5 days. That's not right.
it WAS 2.05 here. I’m afraid to look today to see what it has jumped to.
sigh.
Tim had to buy a reliable car for long distance (he travels out of town every weekend) so the suburban has been languishing in the garage for the most part, and I cram all the kids into the 1996 clunker (Isuzu Oasis, honda odyssey rebadge)
which still gets 25 MPG.
I am wondering how we managed the suburban with gas at 4.05! this drop and then rise again si really waking us up.
