On Friday, hearing about Ryan Barrett was the straw that broke the camels back. I was devastated and just in despair. I was feeling completely drained. Luckily, I had lots of things keeping me busy but during those quiet moments in the car, I was thinking again about the Barretts and grieving with them.
Then, I saw this.
There was no rain. Just the rainbow. And, I felt that God was sending me a message to trust in him. I'm trying. Really, I am.
Isn’t that awesome?
You know, I had a “rainbow-no rain-no clouds” experience too and it was exactly when I needed a rainbow reminder. God really is so very good to us, even in the darkest of times.

So beautiful – I saw a shooting star the moment I looked out the window that night and thought the same thing.

Oh that is such a blessing! These past few weeks have been so stressful and difficult, it is so wonderful to see a tangible sign that God is with us, even though we already know that in our hearts.
